Citrus Sole Fillet en Papillote

A light, fragrant dish, with steamed sole fillets and citrus for a touch of freshness.

Servings: 2-4

Preparation time: 20 minutes

Star ingredient: Sole fillets

Ingredients

 

  • 4 sole fillets
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • 1 lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1 tbsp. chopped fresh dill
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cut out 4 sheets of parchment paper or aluminum foil to make papillotes.
  3. Place a few slices of orange and lemon on each sheet, then a fillet of sole on top.
  4. Drizzle each fillet with a little white wine, garnish with dill, salt and pepper to taste, then seal the papillotes.
  5. Place the papillotes on a baking tray and bake for 12-15 minutes, until the flesh easily flakes.
  6. Serve with vegetables or pasta, if desired.
